Medicare can be confusing. Understanding how to use your healthcare benefits doesn’t have to be.
Join MAMSA Foundation, Inc., a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for a free Medicare Education & Benefits Utilization Workshop designed to help older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, and family members better understand Medicare, healthcare benefits, preventive services, provider changes, and local community resources.
Topics may include Medicare basics, Annual Notice of Change information, preventive care such as the Welcome to Medicare visit and Annual Wellness Visit, prescription and provider considerations, transportation, Extra Help/LIS, Medi-Cal, and other benefit-navigation resources.
These workshops are educational only. Nothing will be sold. Attendees are encouraged to bring a spouse, caregiver, family member, or friend.
