- ➤ Fresno Superior Court Judge Geoffrey Wilson grilled Caltrans in a hearing on a new Highway 99 interchange near a juvenile detention facility less than 100 yards away, saying the agency did not study the extra truck traffic and air pollution. - ➤ On Tuesday, Jan. 6, the Fresno County Board of Supervisors honored Pleasant Mattress, Inc. for its role in a workforce program that placed over 2,500 people in jobs and reimbursed $23.5 million in wages.
