- ➤ Congressman David Valadao announced his office is accepting submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition, a national event open to high school students from the Central Valley. - ➤ Fresno’s Rep. Jim Costa (D-Fresno) and other U.S. lawmakers introduced the BUILD Act to provide up to $1.7 billion a year for five years for regional public universities, including Fresno State.
