- ➤ Me-N-Ed’s, a local restaurant chain with 60 locations, was sold to its employees on Thursday night in a move led by President John Ferdinandi that preserves the legacy begun in 1958. GV Wire
- ➤ The PM Lounge has opened at Cedar and Nees in North Fresno as a private club for business meetings, dining, and entertainment seven days a week. The venue employs over 100 local workers and plans to expand while partnering with community groups. KMPH

- ➤ At Mickey Cox Elementary, students in a functional life skills class operate a digital lost and found system that tags and photographs items using QR codes (displayed around campus), easing claims for parents and building daily living skills. ABC30
- ➤ A 529 account lets families save for higher education expenses with tax-deferred growth and tax-free withdrawals for qualified costs (including up to $10,000 for K-12 tuition). - ➤ A winter storm brought rain, wind and hail that damaged almond blooms and wheat fields at Fresno State. The agriculture department is now assessing the crop losses to help local growers plan their next steps. ABC30

- ➤ The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office will mark its 50th anniversary with the free K-9 Trials today at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Twenty-three agencies will train their dogs in an open field — guests are advised to bring chairs as bleachers will be unavailable. KMPH
