- ➤ The Iranian American community in Fresno held a candle vigil at Clovis Veterans Memorial at 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Dozens lit six candles and spoke brief words as they honored fallen U.S. soldiers and observed a moment of silence to advocate for peace amid ongoing conflict. KMPH

- ➤ The Water Lantern Festival at Woodward Park on Saturday, March 8 brought dozens of locals together as they decorated lanterns with messages of love, hope, and remembrance. At sunset the lanterns were released, creating a glowing display that united the community. KMPH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Caltrans will repair landscaping and pavement on Highway 180 next week. The westbound Park and Ride at McCall Avenue closes Monday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and two way traffic affects the road Tuesday through Thursday between Frankwood and the Friant Canal, so drivers should plan for delays.
