- ➤ Today, artist Lizbeth De La Cruz Santana opens her exhibit (Humanizar Historias) at Arte Américas in downtown Fresno to show the personal impact of immigration policies. The exhibit offers a local look at complex issues, drawing community attention to the human stories behind the debate. KVPR

- ➤ California revealed its list of 2026 Distinguished Schools, naming six Fresno Unified sites — including two middle schools, a charter school, and several high schools — for academic excellence while also honoring schools from Reedley, Clovis, and Sanger; awards will be presented at Disneyland Hotel on April 24. - ➤ At a Fresno Unified board meeting Tuesday night, Roosevelt High School students and alumni urged district officials to save the Fashion Design course—the only fashion pathway in the CTE program—as low enrollment threatened its future, and a final decision is expected within the next few weeks. - ➤ Fresno County received $10.1 million from the state to boost homeless services. County supervisors said the funds will improve emergency shelters, youth shelters, rental assistance and street outreach programs under the Fresno Madera Continuum of Care. GV Wire
- ➤ On Sunday night, a Navy Boeing P8 Poseidon flew low over Fresno, performing near touch and go maneuvers close to Fresno Yosemite International Airport before heading north (its training flight was from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island). KMPH
- ➤ Fresno's new Active Transportation Plan will be presented by City Council this month to improve bike and pedestrian safety. The plan adds 824 miles of bike lanes and 581 sidewalk miles along corridors like First and Maroa (with a $900 million full buildout), but might reduce driving lanes. GV Wire
