- ➤ FresYes Fest returns to Downtown for a block party running from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. today on Fulton Street between Mono and Tulare—expanding into Chukchansi Park for the first time. The free event will feature food trucks and dozens of local vendors. ABC30
- ➤ The Fresno Polar Plunge for Special Olympics takes place today at Crow’s Nest Boat Launch on Millerton Lake at 10 a.m. with the noon jump supporting local athletes, and community members are invited to join the free event offering booths, games, and fun fundraising opportunities. GV Wire

- ➤ On Friday, March 20, 2026, California Health Sciences University in Clovis celebrated 131 students achieving a 100% residency match rate; roughly one-third of the grads will remain in the Central Valley while 69% pursue primary care specialties. GV Wire
- ➤ Fresno Unified will host the 19th Tournament of Technology at Tehipite Middle School’s new Technology Arena on Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. where 260 students will compete in 16 team events themed Spider-Man to show skills in coding, robotics, and drone piloting. GV Wire
- ➤ Fresno State removed the Cesar Chavez statue from its Peace Garden after reports of disturbing allegations about his conduct. President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval said a working group (including campus and community voices) will review campus monuments moving forward. KMPH
- ➤ Orange Cove celebrates the opening of its first commercial truck driving school in the old Sunkist building. Eleven students began the two-month course funded by a $23 million grant, offering training for stable careers in transportation. ABC30
