- ➤ Taqueria Yarelis opened its third location today in Northwest Fresno at the corner of Blackstone and Nees avenues near River Park Shopping Center. The restaurant is known for its 3-foot-long burritos and authentic dishes that began as a catering business in 2009. ABC30
- ➤ Clovis Planet Fitness reopened today after closing late March due to safety concerns when inspectors found the front entry pulling away. The gym is still under construction but members have returned to the facility on Shaw and Clovis Avenues. ABC30

- ➤ The No. 2 Fresno State water polo team will face the No. 1 Loyola Marymount Lions for the GCC Title at the pool at 1 p.m. today, with the winner earning an automatic NCAA Tournament bid (it marks their third consecutive championship matchup). The Collegian
- ➤ On April 12 at the Fresno State Aquatics Center, the Bulldogs lost 8-6 to Loyola Marymount (sophomore center Marit van der Kolk scored two second-half goals) as late defensive play cost them the championship for a second consecutive season.
