ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Military officials identified two Marines from California—one from Fresno and one from Riverside—who died when their vehicle crashed near Santa Teresa on the U.S.-Mexico border during a deployment, while another Marine remained in critical condition as the investigation continued. - ➤ Wickey Two Hands, a 77-year-old homeless man arrested for camping in public under a Fresno ordinance, had his case dismissed on April 10 because the trial started too late—police and city resources were used without reaching a verdict. GV Wire
- ➤ A pickup rolled onto its side in Fresno around 8:45 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of Belmont and Armstrong Avenues after an SUV reportedly ran a red light and hit an oncoming truck, and police later arrested the SUV driver near Shields and Temperance Avenues on suspicion of driving under the influence while the pickup driver was taken to CRMC with minor injuries.
