- ➤ Early Monday morning, Fresno police responded to a traffic collision near Chestnut Avenue south of Olive Avenue in southeast Fresno where 42-year-old Victor Thomas Jr. was hit by a vehicle and later died during surgery—Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified him on Tuesday and investigators are looking into the crash.
