- ➤ Fresno Unified Trustee Susan Wittrup abstained from a SEDA resolution Wednesday night, saying the board should focus on improving student performance (70% of students do not read at grade level) rather than land-use decisions. Gavin Newsom announced a $1 billion rebate program for electric trucks that offers rebates ranging from $7,500 to $120,000 toward the purchase of new electric medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
