- ➤ Mathews Harley-Davidson in Fresno partnered with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to host a free Ride Day event during Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month that gave first-time riders a chance to learn safe riding, test gear, and get coaching. Owner Melissa Walter said the event marked the first Ride Day in California & offered 24/7 facility access for military members and riders with busy schedules. KMPH

- ➤ At around noon, firefighters responded to a fire at a workshop on Cornelia Avenue where multiple vehicles burned and three trailers were present while two individuals evacuated safely and a man (in his mid-40s) was found dead in a trailer as authorities investigated the blaze. KMPH

- ➤ Fresno's Tequila Fest 2025 took place at Chukchansi Park on Saturday night with performances by Ludacris, Juvenile, Yin Yang Twins, and Nina Sky — Fresno favorite DJ Kay Rich hosted the event. Attendees enjoyed tequila tastings from over two dozen vendors, including Tequila Komos and Tequila Don Fulano, while organizers promised more activations next year. KMPH

- ➤ Regulators issued a cease-and-desist order at Gallo's Fresno winery after inspectors found toxic wastewater threatened local drinking water by exceeding a cap of 54.2 million gallons per year while records showed the winery discharged about 400 million gallons.
