- ➤ Memorial Day events run from today through Monday in the Central Valley with a run in Clovis on Saturday at 6:30 a.m., a concert and BMX race Sunday, and ceremonies and parades in Fresno, Tulare, and Porterville to honor veterans. Many activities are free+low-cost and open to the public. ABC30
- ➤ Local wedding and event vendors will be honored at the Central Valley gala as organizers at Bespoke Collective invite the public to submit nominations online until May 31 (voting starts June 25). The awards ceremony will take place in August. ABC30
- ➤ On Thursday morning, the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation and the County awarded $85K in grants to support 23 mobile food vendors in downtown Fresno, with each vendor receiving up to $4K to further their business goals (including King Elotero Man, which serves unique elote dishes). ABC30
