- ➤ On May 21 at 2:10 p.m., Fresno police arrested 22-year-old Julian Carrillo, 44-year-old Rosa Romero, and 22-year-old Aaron Robles after a stabbing near Community Regional Medical Center where Carrillo stabbed a man during a marijuana deal while Romero held the victim down and Robles stole his keys and phone—one victim drove himself to the hospital. - ➤ A 24-year-old contracted worker at Edison High was arrested on Wednesday at 2 p.m. on campus for sexual assault—he faces charges including oral copulation, penetration with a foreign object and false imprisonment with violence, and his bail is set at $75,000. ABC30
- ➤ Luis Ortiz was arrested after hitting and killing a cyclist on May 11 just before 6:00 p.m. at Belmont Avenue and Thesta Street—officers linked him to the incident with vehicle evidence and booked him on charges including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony hit and run, and DUI causing injury. - ➤ On May 2, Jagat Singh, who had a 2023 DUI conviction and was driving a stolen car, pleaded not guilty to murder charges for a crash on Clovis Avenue that killed 19-year-old Jordan Galvez and 18-year-old Maddux Greene, with a preliminary hearing set for July 15 at 8:30 a.m. KMJ Now

- ➤ Downtown Fresno will welcome the return of street vendors to ArtHop on June 5, as Downtown Fresno Partnership CEO Elliot Balch said the event will now include better safety measures and organization.
