- ➤ The Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health said it received $67 million in round 1 grants from the California Behavioral Health Infrastructure Bond Act of 2024 on Friday to fund three projects aimed at expanding local mental health services—additional local awards bring total funding to $121.3 million and include a $29.7 million award to boost the Community Behavioral Health Center’s psychiatric beds from 73 to 107, with construction set to finish by the end of 2028.
