- ➤ Jack’s Gas in Easton lowered fuel prices for Memorial Day weekend to help local travelers as prices, previously $4.49 to $4.59 per gallon, dropped to $3.79 and will remain that low until at least Thursday. The station also awarded nearly $60,000 in scholarships to 67 students — a sign of its commitment to the community. KMPH

- ➤ Local pop-up vendors Rayne and Hannah hosted a vintage-inspired fashion show on Saturday in Fresno where 36 handmade outfits were shown by 18 models. The event featured unique designs with custom jewelry (by Rayne) and crocheted clothing (by Hannah). KMPH

- ➤ Attorney Steve Smith said that nine Clovis Unified students who admitted drinking before prom were suspended and barred from graduation — while other students reportedly avoided punishment. He claimed the selective action was unfair and said he had evidence to support his case and might sue CUSD. KMJ Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fresno Superior Court ruled against Fresno Building Healthy Communities and gave them $290,000 in lawyers' fees instead of the more than $600,000 they asked for in their 2019 Measure P lawsuit, and Judge Whalen said the group's lawyers had changed their story—City Attorney Andrew Janz said the ruling was fair.
