- ➤ A Clovis man was sentenced to 8 years for selling fentanyl that caused a Fresno overdose death; 21‐year‐old Lakota Tehya Wakley sold the drug between November and December 2024, causing a 24‐year‐old man's death and prompting an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations — Drug Enforcement Administration — Fresno Police Department. - ➤ A major clean energy project planned for Fresno County will repurpose up to 130,000 acres of drainage-impaired farmland for solar panels, energy storage and high-voltage transmission lines.
