- ➤ Fresno law enforcement announced Friday that Operation Shock Collar charged 89 people for gang crimes including a 2017 homicide and arrests linked to the local Bulldog gang in Coalinga and Huron as over 550 officers from local, state and federal agencies worked together and officials warned other gang members may be next. - ➤ California is expected to see a $900M drop in tourism revenue, but Fresno County is countering this trend by emphasizing local drive markets and expanding its international air terminal, which will be fully completed this fall. - ➤ Central Unified educators held a ribbon cutting on June 26 for Fresno’s first school named after a Sikh — Jaswant Singh Khalra Elementary School. - ➤ Andres Navarro graduated from Farber Educational Center and got a job offer at Gap’s warehouse after learning hands-on skills in the Logistics and Warehouse Management Program.
