ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fresno firefighters put out a fire on the 1200 block of North Fruit Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Friday and found a vacant home that became a total loss—no injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. KMPH
- ➤ On Saturday, a home on Highway 41 and Mt. Whitney burned down, displacing eight residents when firefighters arrived at 6:07 p.m. They controlled flames spreading to nearby vegetation and a haystack — victims will receive help from the Red Cross. KMPH

- ➤ CHP arrested two individuals for felony vandalism after they were caught defacing the Highway 99 bridge—during the traffic stop, officials charged the Lincoln driver with DUI. KMPH
- ➤ Fresno police said a man fleeing a hit-and-run died after his silver Chevy pickup crashed into a tree near Fresno and H Streets around 10:30 a.m. Sunday—another driver reported being rear-ended by the fleeing vehicle after his black Subaru was involved in a collision. Your Central Valley
