- ➤ Six juveniles aged 13 to 15 were arrested on July 7 after police said they were involved in two early morning assaults on June 30 in Fresno—one at Quigley Park that left a 73-year-old man in critical condition and another near Weber and Brown that left a 40-year-old man in stable condition—while stolen vehicles were used in both incidents. - ➤ Fresno Fright Nights will open Oct. 3 at Island Waterpark with four themed haunts — an abandoned chemical plant, a haunted cemetery, Night Crawlers Pizza and the Blood River Bayou Swamp. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Sept. 27 and the attraction will run until Nov. 1. The Business Journal
