- ➤ A mother (Whisper Owen, 36 year old) and her 8 month old daughter have been missing since July 15 after a doctor's appointment in Fresno; their family says her silver 2006 Chevy Trailblazer with front damage was last seen near Atwater and they ask anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office. - ➤ Plans for a new northwest Fresno Costco are on hold after a county judge rejected the project due to environmental concerns — the judge ruled the city's approval conflicted with state law.
