- ➤ A traffic stop on Saturday near Mulberry and Rodriguiez Avenue led Parlier Officers to check a car with a 16-year-old driver without a license who had a vape pen and an 18-year-old passenger carrying a loaded handgun + the passenger was arrested on firearm charges while the driver received a ticket and was released. - ➤ A Navy F35-C Lightning II crashed on Supervisor Buddy Mendes’ cotton field near Naval Air Station Lemoore on July 30 after the pilot ejected safely, and first responders put out the fire and airlifted him to a hospital. Mendes said the Navy has secured the site — although cleanup is still uncertain, his crop cannot be irrigated until the plane is removed — leaving his farm in limbo. GV Wire
