- ➤ Bobby Salazar, known for his namesake restaurants, was arrested just before 11 a.m. Tuesday on arson and fraud charges after allegedly hiring a motorcycle gang member to set fire to his Blackstone Avenue restaurant—he is scheduled to appear in Fresno County court Wednesday. ABC30
- ➤ Gisela Gonzalez Merical said her Saturday at (West Pointe apartments) turned violent when her husband, Joseph, began strangling her during a domestic dispute so that after she called 911 with her baby and police responded, he attacked them with two knives and officers used lethal force that led to his death, leaving her grieving and seeking help for funeral costs.
