- ➤ South Tower CLT has led a neighborhood revitalization effort in Fresno’s Tower District by rehabilitating a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 517 N. Farris Ave. priced at $215,000 using a community land trust model to keep housing affordable—now the group is moving ahead with acquiring its first commercial building. The Business Journal

- ➤ Spotlight Events hosted Viva La Fiesta on September 18 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Fresno State as students danced, painted cantaritos, rode a mechanical bull, and enjoyed pan dulce and aguas frescas. - ➤ The Fresno County Measure C committee voted to renew the half-cent transportation sales tax for 30 years—this change is needed to keep funds available after the tax expires in June 2027.
