  • Children took part in the Children's Business Fair in Old Town Clovis as part of Clovis Fest today, with young entrepreneurs like the Camacho siblings selling jewelry and sharing plans for their earnings—The fair will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.  ABC30
  • Seven-year-old Levi Jameson received a new dirt bike from Clawson Motorsports after his original bike was stolen just days before he raced in the Little Okie 2025 Fall Series Race near Fresno. His father said the community’s support—shown by dozens reaching out with help and donations—lifted their spirits and restored Levi’s excitement for racing.  KMPH
  • Families enjoyed the 50th annual Clovis Fest as about a dozen hot air balloons lifted off from the Clovis Rodeo Grounds this morning and offered tethered rides — a highlight for early visitors. Later, vendors filled Old Town Clovis in a street festival while the fest continues tomorrow morning.  ABC30

  • UC Merced moved up to No. 57 among US universities in the latest U.S. News Best Colleges report—earning a No. 3 rank for social mobility and showing gains from last year. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On Saturday, officials said the Garnet Fire was 99% contained after burning 60,000 acres in the Sierra National Forest—a blaze that started more than a month ago from a lightning strike. Firefighters are mopping up the area and working to secure nearby communities before the land is reopened to the public.  ABC30
