- ➤ Last night, residents celebrated Dia de los Muertos in Downtown Fresno at Tioga Sequoia Beer Garden with live music, food and contests—honoring the tradition of guiding deceased loved ones with decorated altars and ofrendas. - ➤ Sanger students enrolled in the Regional Occupational Program toured Fresno County jail on Friday, where correctional officers explained the facility's operations and the justice system. - ➤ Fresno is starting street repaving in a neighborhood bounded by McKinley, Palm, Olive — and Fruit avenues today as part of the Pave More Now initiative. The weeklong project will include manhole work on Monday and Thursday, roadway grinding on Tuesday, paving on Wednesday and striping on Friday while drivers are advised to take alternate routes between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. GV Wire
