Fresno State’s Farmworkers Advocacy Club is showing appreciation for local farmworkers by organizing events that highlight their vital work.

The club held a social lunch in Madera on Oct. 8 and will host a 5k run fundraiser on December 6—efforts designed to engage students and support those who keep the fields thriving.

Fresno Unified School District is working with the FBI to recover $2.2 million lost in a 2024 phishing scam that misdirected two contractor checks.
