- ➤ Old Town Clovis kicked off its 25th annual One Enchanted Evening on Thursday as shoppers braved rain with umbrellas while enjoying carolers, carriage rides, and Santa visits that marked the start of the holiday shopping season. ABC30
- ➤ Longtime Action News anchor Warren Armstrong announced that he is dialing back his schedule and will retire in November 2026 after more than 40 years in broadcasting; he will continue anchoring the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts while stepping away from the 11 p.m. show with his final late newscast scheduled for early January. - ➤ Downtown Fresno is dressed for the holidays as Miracle on Fulton Street returns bigger and brighter with two pop-up bars offering themed drinks and festive décor. - ➤ Today at a Fresno Unified school board meeting, Superintendent Misty Her announced that staff evaluations will become uniform with a new dashboard tracking required training and community feedback forms for major decisions. The district plans to boost supervisor training from 0% in June to 100% by June 2028—finalizing evaluation metrics in December and possibly adjusting the superintendent's review to November. - ➤ Fresno County will upgrade the Animal Shelter with a new solar energy system and panels that will cut energy costs and add shade to the play yard, livestock, and parking areas.
