GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fresno County officials are reviewing health codes and models from Los Angeles to allow taco stands to use trompos in order to reduce long wait times. Officials said a town hall will be held for food vendors, and taco stands could be permitted to use trompos by early next year—helping local businesses serve customers faster.  KMPH

SPORTS NEWS

  • Fresno State men’s basketball will return to Selland Arena to face the Roadrunners in their first game there since 2009. The Bulldogs are 6-2 in nonconference play and guard Jake Heidbreder was honored for reaching 1,000 career points before the game.  The Collegian
