Good morning, Fresno.

Fresno State’s Dairy Science Club led a statewide milk drive, raising nearly $3,000 and collecting over 1,000 gallons donated to local food pantries.

The effort helped the university top the Give-A-Gallon Challenge as donations came online and at Gibson Farm Market and were delivered to food banks on Dec. 18.

The Fresno Unified School District approved a retirement incentive allowing 573 employees to retire early amid falling enrollment.

The plan, which saves over $56 million over the next 5 years if positions are not refilled, will begin payouts next August.

The Fresno State women’s basketball team will host the Wyoming Cowgirls at Save Mart Center today at 2 p.m. after the Cowgirls ended the Bulldogs’ season in last March’s Mountain West semi-finals, setting up a rematch for redemption.
