A bicyclist died after being hit by a car near Highway 41 on Jensen Avenue just after 11 p.m. Saturday as first responders pronounced him dead at the scene and police later recovered the vehicle while reporting the driver was not under the influence.

A 24-year-old man died after his Dodge Challenger led CHP officers on a high-speed chase along Highway 180 in Fresno County—he lost control on an off-ramp, his car overturned several times, and he was not wearing a seatbelt.

CHP K-9 Sergeant stopped a 2018 Honda Accord for a traffic violation and discovered 13 pounds of cocaine hidden (in a compartment built into the exhaust tunnel accessed via the center console), leading to the driver's arrest for possession and transportation of cocaine and for using an aftermarket compartment to transport narcotics.
