- ➤ A Clovis man was sentenced to 8 years for selling fentanyl that caused a Fresno overdose death; 21‐year‐old Lakota Tehya Wakley sold the drug between November and December 2024, causing a 24‐year‐old man's death and prompting an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations — Drug Enforcement Administration — Fresno Police Department. - ➤ Police responded to calls just before 1 a.m. Monday, June 23 at a Jack in the Box on Olive Avenue near Highway 99 where they found a man with multiple stab wounds who was taken to a hospital—officials said a possible suspect was detained as the investigation continues. KMJ Now

- ➤ A major clean energy project planned for Fresno County will repurpose up to 130,000 acres of drainage-impaired farmland for solar panels, energy storage and high-voltage transmission lines.
