- ➤ A 26-year-old Mexican national, Miguel Obed Romero Reyes, was sentenced to over four years in federal prison after a Fresno County traffic stop on Interstate 5 uncovered more than 200,000 fentanyl pills in a duffel bag, and authorities said he picked up the pills in Arizona to transport them to Washington—investigators included the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
