- ➤ Hundreds of Fresno community members gathered at Eaton Plaza by the historic Water Tower on Saturday for the 20th Annual SoberStock to protest fentanyl abuse—organizers said they honored past losses and urged recovery efforts to save lives. KMPH
- ➤ Young kids from ages six to 17 will show off their creative business skills at The Children’s Business Fair during Clovis Fest in Old Town Clovis, where they will sell crafted items and share plans for using their earnings. - ➤ Mineral King Publishing—owner of The Sun-Gazette and Mid Valley Times—will expand its footprint on Oct. 1 by adding three local newspapers, The Kerman News, Firebaugh-Mendota Journal and West Side Advance.
