If you vote in Fresno Unified Trustee Area 1, 3 or 4, read this before Tuesday. The Fresno County Elections Department found what it calls a minor typographical printing error on ballots printed by its ballot-marking devices. The screen shows Fresno Unified School District, but the printed ballot calls the contest Fowler Unified.
- Affected races: Fresno Unified Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 4
- Other contests: not affected
- Workaround: ask any Vote Center for an on-demand ballot
- Signs: posted at every ballot-marking device
- Election Day: Tue., Nov. 3
Registrar of Voters James A. Kus says the ballot still records your choice correctly. The error doesn't appear on mail-in ballots, either. Voting in person in one of those areas? Ask for a ballot printed on demand.

- Oct. 31Fresno County Elections Department issues a news release on the printing error.
- Nov. 3Election Day across Fresno County.
- LaterAfter Election Day, additional Trustee Area 1, 3 and 4 precincts will be drawn for the Manual Tally audit.
